Yusuf Dikek is no ordinary man
Yusuf Dikeç was born in 1973 in Tasoluk village in the Goksun district of Kahramanmara Province in Turkey. Yusuf Dikeç is a retired non-commissioned officer of the Turkish Gendarmerie. He started shooting in 2001 and continued shooting simultaneously for the Turkish national team and the military team. Yusuf Dikeç completed his primary education in Tasoluk village. The Turkish shooter graduated from Ankara's Gazi University with a degree in physical education and sports.
Trained at Sainik School
He joined the Military School of Gendarmerie in Ankara in 1994, where he graduated with the rank of Sergeant in 2000. Yusuf served in Istanbul for a year and then transferred to the Sports Club of the Turkish Gendarmerie. After serving in the army for a while, Yusuf started trying his hand at shooting sports in the year 2001 and since then he has been participating in the national games on behalf of the Military National Team. Yusuf has four other European Championship titles, one ISSF World Cup title and one CISF World Championship gold medal.
