Varanasi, 27 August (HS). On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival, Rohania MLA Dr Sunil Patel reached the temporary cow shelter in village panchayat Sajoi of Arazi Line development block area on Tuesday. The MLA worshipped the cow in the presence of Block Development Officer Surendra Kumar Yadav and Assistant Development Officer Panchayat Praveen Kumar Singh. During this, the MLA and the officers garlanded 140 cows in the cowshed and fed them jaggery, gram and banana and took blessings from the mother cow.
On this occasion, the MLA said that serving mother cow on Shri Krishna Janmashtami is equal to worshipping Lord Shri Krishna.
Rajkumar Verma, Govind Patel, Manoj Kumar Singh, Dr. Prem Patel, Sonu Singh, Anil Patel etc. were also present in the program.
