Now eco friendly bio vacuum green toilets will also be installed in train coaches.

Now even the water of toilets of train bogies will not fall on the railway lines. Not only will the environment be protected, there will be no junk in the tracks. The smell of toilets will not spread in the coaches. On the lines of airplanes, eco-friendly bio-vacuum green toilets will be installed in train bogies instead of bio-toilets. Green toilets have been installed in 40 coaches of North Eastern Railway. Preparations are underway to put in 200 coaches.

Work going on in Izzatnagar Mechanical Factory

According to Chief Public Relations Officer Pankaj Kumar Singh, the work of bio toilet fitment is being done in 18 pairs of hybrid coaches at the mechanical factory located in Izzatnagar. Pressurized flushing systems are being installed to ensure better cleanliness of toilets. Under Mechanized Coach Cleaning, trains are being cleaned and washed in 12 coaching depots including Gorakhpur. Automatic Coach Washing Plant has started functioning in Banaras. Onboard house keeping service has been started in 59 trains. Under this service, the coaches are also being cleaned in the moving train. Pay and use toilet facility is available at 40 stations including Gorakhpur.

Bottle crushing machines installed at seven stations

Bottle crushing machines will be installed at railway stations to check plastic waste completely. Machines have been installed in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Banaras, Kashipur, Kathgodam, Rudrapur City, Haldwani.

KL Gupta, General Secretary of Narmu got infected

105-year-old KL Gupta, the Joint General Secretary of All India Railway Men’s Federation (AIRF) and General Secretary of NE Railway Mazdoor Union (Naramu), has become infected with Kovid. Union officials have admitted him to Lalit Narayan Mishra Central Railway Hospital for treatment. According to Joint General Secretary Omkar Nath Singh, health is improving.

Roster system implemented in mechanical factory

Railway administration has implemented roster system in mechanical factory Gorakhpur. Now only 50 percent of the employees will do duty in a shift. On the guidelines of the Railway Board, the employees’ unions were demanding to implement the roster system in the factory.
