PM Internship Scheme: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the PM Internship Scheme in the general budget for the financial year 2024-25, in which about 1 crore youth will benefit from it in the next 5 years. In this program, each intern will be given a monthly allowance of Rs 5000. Apart from this, after 1 year, a lump sum amount of Rs 6000 will be given separately by the government. PM Internship Scheme: How much allowance will you get?

Under PM Internship Scheme, every intern will be given a monthly allowance of Rs 5000. Apart from this, the government will give a separate lump sum amount of Rs 6000 after 1 year. In this monthly allowance of Rs 5000, 10 percent i.e. Rs 500 will be given by the companies from their CSR fund and Rs 4500 will be given by the government.

PM Internship Scheme: 1 crore youth will get benefit

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the PM Internship Scheme in the general budget for the financial year 2024-25, in which about 1 crore youth will benefit from it in the next 5 years. In the first phase, 30 lakh youth will be included in it in the first 2 years, while about 70 lakh people will be included in it in the next 3 years.

PM Internship Scheme: Opportunity to work in top 500 companies

Under the PM Internship Scheme, youth will get an opportunity to do internship in about 500 top companies of the country. Under their CSR activity, these companies are going to provide 1 year work experience to the youth by giving 10 percent assistance in this scheme.

PM Internship Scheme: Who can apply?

Any youth between the age of 21 to 24 years who has 10th pass certificate can apply for PM Internship Scheme.

PM Internship Scheme: Who cannot apply?

Please note that any person who has any member of his family in a government job, or whose family annual income is more than Rs 8 lakh or who is himself in any full-time employment, cannot apply for this scheme.

To apply for PM Internship Scheme, you first have to go to its official portal and fill a form, where you can give information about your skills and interests. After which, on the basis of your qualifications, it will be decided where you can do internship.

Before applying for PM Internship Scheme, you need to keep some important documents ready with you, which include Aadhar Card, Email ID, Mobile Number, Address Proof, Educational Details and PAN Card.
