New Delhi. Airline, Air India will operate three direct flights to Europe to meet the growing demand and expand its operations. Daily flights from Delhi to Amsterdam, the capital of Netherlands, will start from June 22, 2024. Apart from this, flights will operate from Delhi to Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, five days a week from July 1, 2024. Air India also announced daily flights to Milan, Italy. This flight will fly from the capital Delhi every day.
Air India Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Campbell Wilson said expansion of the global route network remains a key priority for the airline's ongoing transformation journey. Once all the new and additional flights are operational, Air India will operate 80 flights per week to seven destinations in Europe – Amsterdam Schiphol, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Milan Malpensa, Paris CDG, Vienna and Zurich.
Will start from June 22
Air India will operate daily non-stop flights from Delhi to Amsterdam Schiphol and Delhi to Milan Malpensa from June 22, 2024. Additionally, Air India will operate one more flight on the Delhi-Copenhagen route, taking over the frequency on this route. Up to five times a week. Air India CEO Wilson said that the increased frequency in Europe shows that the demand for travel between India and Europe has increased and we are committed to providing more choice and convenience to our customers.
Delhi-Amsterdam flight schedule
According to Air India, Delhi-Amsterdam flight number will depart from Delhi at 1.15 pm. The flight will land in Amsterdam at 06.35 pm. In return, flight number AI156 will depart from Amsterdam at 08.40 pm and land in Delhi at 8 am the next day. Delhi-Milan daily flight (AI137) will depart from Delhi at 02.15 pm. Will reach Milan at 07.20 pm. It will depart from Milan at 09.00 pm and reach Delhi at 08.10 pm the next day.
Delhi-Copenhagen schedule
According to Air India, the flight from Delhi to Copenhagen will run on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The flight will depart from Delhi at 02.20 pm and reach Copenhagen at 06.45 pm. In return, Copenhagen-Delhi (AI158) flight will depart Copenhagen at 08.45 pm. This flight will land at Delhi airport at 07.30 am the next day. Air India's non-stop flight to Zurich starts from 16 June 2024.
