Noida Airport: The journey from Delhi's Kalindi Kunj to Noida Airport will now be completed in just 30 minutes. Yes, this is going to be possible in the coming days. To ease the connectivity of Delhi and Haryana from Noida Airport, NHAI has agreed to build another expressway parallel to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway after the completion of the survey work. With its construction, the pressure of vehicles on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will be reduced. With this, more than 10 lakh drivers will be able to reach their destination easily.
The journey to Lucknow will become easier
The length of the expressway will be 32 km, of which 28 km will be built in Noida area and 4 km to connect it to the airport. With its construction, drivers will be able to complete their journey to Lucknow without any interruption. NHAI has prepared a report after surveying other options including Pushta Road. According to the CEO of Noida Authority, after getting the consent of NHAI, now a company will be hired and a re-survey will be done so that the DPR can be prepared and work can be started. Many cities of Delhi, Haryana and UP will directly benefit from the new expressway.
10 to 15 lakh vehicles pass through Noida Expressway every day
At present, around 10 to 15 lakh vehicles ply on the Noida Expressway every day. These vehicles are much more than the capacity of the expressway, which is why a new expressway is being considered. There is a plan to connect the expressway to the Mumbai-Vadodara Expressway near Delhi Kalindi Kunj. After its construction, the traffic of Faridabad, Ballabhgarh in Haryana, Badarpur, Nehru Place and Noida, which currently uses the expressway, will be able to travel directly from the Yamuna Expressway to Agra, Aligarh, Mathura, Noida Airport and Lucknow via the new expressway.
Estimated cost: Rs 2.5 thousand crores
About 2 to 2.5 thousand crores will be spent on this project. This money will be spent by both the central and state governments. At present, the authority is unable to spend such a huge amount on the project. The reason for this is that the authority has run out of sources of income. Let us tell you that passenger flights are expected to start from Noida International Airport in April next year. A few days ago, airport officials had informed that the length of the runway being built in the first phase is 3.9 kilometers and the width is 60 meters.
