Khunti, June 23 (HS). A Sarna Dharma prayer meeting cum flag changing program was organized on Sunday at Gutuhatu of Tapkara under the aegis of Sarna Dharma Soto Committee. At the beginning of the program, proper worship was done at the Sarna site under the leadership of Pahan Jairam Gudiya and Luthru Munda of Gutuhatu and wishes for happiness, peace and prosperity were made to Singbonga.
On this occasion, religious leader Bagrai Odeya said that we believe in nature-worshipping Sarna religion and pray to Lord Singbonga. This gives spiritual peace to human life and brings awareness in human life. Religious leader Jeetu Pahan said that Sarna religion is the oldest religion in the world. There is a need to save it.
Religious leader Soma Kandir said that Lord Singbonga is not visible to the eyes because we feel and accept nature as God. Our ancestors also followed nature as their base in their lives. Therefore, we should also take inspiration from our ancestors and believe in Sarna religion. Sarna religion followers from Torpa, Rania, Khunti, Murhu and Kamdara blocks participated in the program.
