Muzaffarnagar, 03 August (HS). A video of three miscreants on a bike reaching a coaching centre in Gandhi Colony in Nai Mandi of the district and molesting two girls went viral. UP government minister Kapil Dev Agarwal had asked the police to take action in this case. Police obeyed the minister's order and caught two accused in an encounter. Police has started taking strict action against both of them.
According to the information, on Friday, three miscreants on a bike, who came with their faces covered with cloth, molested the girl students outside a coaching centre. After this, the miscreants fled from there. The act of the miscreants was captured in a CCTV installed there. When this video went viral on social media, questions were raised about the promptness of the police regarding the act of the miscreants. In this case, Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal directed the police to take action. Taking the example of the minister's strictness and the action taken by the police after the hooliganism of the miscreants in Lucknow, Muzaffarnagar police arrested two miscreants, Ujjwal and Shubham.
After the police action, the miscreants who were caught have vowed not to harass any girl or woman again. The police have taken further action against both of them. The search for the third one is still on.
