Varanasi, May 29 (HS). The Muslim community of Varanasi, the most influential and popular Lok Sabha seat of the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections, has listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mann ki Baat. If the Muslim traders, weavers, artisans or people doing small jobs are to be believed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done whatever he said. People from every section of society have benefited from his schemes.
Mohammad Mirza, a readymade clothes seller in Dal Mandi area, said that Dal Mandi is known as a cloth market in Varanasi. Most of the shopkeepers in this market are Muslims. With changing times, the cloth market has been linked from Varanasi to Gujarat. The cloth coming from Gujarat is in demand among the people.
He said that there is never any difficulty in transactions with the traders of Gujarat. Being the area of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Varanasi, traders often get cloth at concessional rates. Modi ji has brought online system in the business sector, which has brought great relief in transactions. Now even small payments can be made very easily. Transactions through UPI are very easy, due to which every trader is happy with Narendra Modi.
Wasim Mohammad, who is involved in weaving work in Varanasi's Revdi Talab area, said that the city has uninterrupted electricity supply 24 hours a day and power loom machines run smoothly. Earlier, sarees which were hand-woven are now made on power loom machines. This reduces the sweating of the weaver.
He said that Narendra Modi made many plans to promote weavers. In which a center was also made in Lalpur area for the sale of their goods. With the help of government officials, a plan was made to sell the goods made by the weavers there but the kind of sales that is required in the name of Banarasi is not available in any market.
He further said that as Prime Minister and MP Narendra Modi has done a lot of development work in Varanasi. Many Muslims also vote for Narendra Modi for this reason. Every section of society has benefited from Narendra Modi's development policies.
Rahim Rickshaw Wala, a resident of Bajardiha area of the city, said that the number of people coming to Varanasi from outside has increased in the last few years. This has directly benefited rickshaw, e-rickshaw and tempo drivers. People coming from outside especially enjoy roaming around the city on a rickshaw. Every person wants to go to Kashi Vishwanath Dham first.
He said that rickshaw pullers definitely listen to Narendra Modi's Mann Ki Baat programme. Narendra Modi talks about every person. This time too Modi will win the election and will become the Prime Minister for the third time.
Leaving aside the political faces among the Muslim community within Varanasi city, most Muslims today do not get tired of counting the development works of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Development work has been done in every way in Varanasi, from streets to ghats, stadiums, flyovers.
