Gorakhpur, 27 September (Hindustan Reporter). In view of the continuous rains in the city, Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Singh inspected various places and directed to ensure drainage.
The Municipal Commissioner inspected other places including near Munshi Premchand Park, HP School Wali Gali, Gopalpur Daudpur, Vijay Square, Maya Talkies Marg, Reti Chowk. After which the Municipal Commissioner asked all the zonal officers, sanitation inspectors and all the engineers of the construction department to remain in the area continuously and keep the drains cleaned. Instructions were also given to keep the pump sets and sump wells installed at waterlogged sites running continuously.
