Vistara flight UK27 from Mumbai to Frankfurt (BOM-FRA) was diverted to Turkey (Erzurum airport) due to security reasons. It landed safely at 7:05 pm. However, other details like the number of passengers and crew members on board the plane were not immediately known.

Reports say that the crew received information about a bomb in the flight, after which the flight was diverted and security checks are being done to prevent any unwanted incident from happening. Sources said that a note written 'bomb on plane' was found on tissue paper in the toilet.

According to reports, the Mumbai-Frankfurt Vistara flight on Friday was diverted to Turkey after security concerns were raised by the flight crew. The plane landed safely at Erzurum airport and as per protocol, the relevant authorities were immediately alerted.

A similar case came to light

Last week, on September 1, a domestic IndiGo flight from Jabalpur to Hyderabad was diverted to Nagpur due to a bomb threat. According to a statement from IndiGo, all passengers were deboarded upon Nagpur landing and mandatory security checks were started immediately.
