Mizoram:The Women’s Reservation Bill, 2023 was introduced in the new Parliament House today. Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal met the Prime Minister today to discuss this bill. This bill was approved in the Union Cabinet meeting. The Prime Minister announced the introduction of the Constitution 128th Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha session this afternoon. The bill is expected to be debated during the current session of Parliament.
Pu Rosanga said that the bill will be passed in the Mizoram Assembly. He said that the bill will be passed in the Mizoram Assembly after 15 years of service. He said that after delimitation of BIAL, it will be implemented from 2029.
