Beirut: After the ongoing war in Gaza, it seems that Israel has decided to turn Lebanon into a graveyard. More than 300 people have been killed and more than 600 injured in Israel's attack on 300 locations of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in Lebanon. More than 150 attacks have been carried out with missiles and rockets on 300 locations of Hezbollah.
Israel's military released a photo on a social media site that it said showed military chief Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi was authorizing additional strikes from his headquarters in Tel Aviv.
In view of the lethality of the Israeli attack, Lebanon has closed all schools and colleges across the country for two days. Israel has warned the residents of about 17 villages to vacate the area after the attack in southern Lebanon. They said that with this the scope of their attacks may also increase.
The military said it had stepped up air strikes from the Bekaa Valley to Lebanon's eastern border. Hezbollah has long had a presence in the Bekaa Valley where the group was founded in 1982 with help from Iran's Revolutionary Guards.
Israel has called for the evacuation of civilians from all areas of Lebanon dominated by Hezbollah. Hezbollah has also fired dozens of rockets in response. It is believed that Israel will soon establish its dominance over the airspace of the territory of South Lebanon. Like Gaza, hospitals in Lebanon are also now filled with the injured.
Israel accuses Hezbollah of turning residents of entire areas of southern Lebanon into terrorists or supporters of terrorists.
According to Lebanese authorities, they have received nearly 100,000 suspicious Israeli calls. People have been asked to vacate their homes.
