On Thursday, the ED said that assets worth Rs 98 crore, including two bungalows and equity shares in the names of Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty, have been seized during the investigation into the money laundering case.

The social media platform post also said that the seized properties include a bungalow in Juhu in the name of Shilpa Shetty, a bungalow in Pune has also been seized and equity shares in the name of Raj Kundra have also been seized by the ED. Have taken.

ED has taken this action under the money laundering case. In which investigation was initiated against One Variable Tech Private Limited and others including late Amit Bhardwaj, Vivek Bhardwaj, Simpi Bhardwaj and Mahendra Bhardwaj. Who collected huge amounts of money from the general public by falsely promising 10 percent returns per month in the form of Bitcoin.

ED alleges that the promoters have cheated the investors. And hid the ill-gotten bitcoins in a wallet. It has been claimed that Raj Kundra had received 285 Bitcoins from Bitcoin Ponzi scam mastermind Amit Bhardwaj. Whose owner is Raj Kundra and its current value is more than Rs 150 crore.
