Anuppur, June 16 (HS). It is the duty of all citizens to protect the purity and divinity of water sources. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is running Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan for the conservation and promotion of water in the state. He said that the river is the identity of the region, we have to enrich the identity of our region by saving it. Amarkantak of Anuppur district is a wonderful boon given by God and nature. The lifeline of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, Narmada river originates from here and also the origin place of wonderful rivers like Son and Johila. The whole world praises these rivers originating from here. It is our moral responsibility to protect and promote them. This is a big thing in itself.

Minister of State Dilip Jaiswal appealed to keep the water sources, district, town, Gram Panchayat clean and said that along with conservation and development of water, we will have to pay special attention to tree plantation as well. If everyone does any auspicious work at their place then they must plant a tree because no auspicious work can be done without trees and water.
