Navratri Eighth Puja: This year 9 days of Shardiya Navratri have been completed, but the date increases or decreases. That means Ashtami and Noma Tithi are coming on the same day. According to the scriptures, the eighth fast should not be observed on the day of Saptami. Dates on which the sun does not rise are ignored. According to the astrologer, Ashtami Tithi is on October 11 till 6.52 am. After this Navami Tithi is starting. This year the ninth day has been removed from the calendar. Let us know from the astrologer which day is best to observe the fast and worship of Aathma.

According to the astrologer, Saptamiyukta Ashtami is coming on Thursday. Ashtami Tithi is starting from 7.29 am on this day. Atham Tithi will last till 6.52 am on Friday, October 11. According to Shastriji, the Nisha puja performed on the night of Atham will be done on the midnight of Saptami related Ashtami Tithi i.e. 10th October, whereas due to Udayatithi, the auspicious time of Ashtami fast is coming on 11th October (Athamwali Navami Tithi).

When will the fast be celebrated?

According to the astrologer, devotees observing Athma fast will be able to break their fast on Vijayadashami on 12th October. Navami Tithi ends at 5.47 am before sunrise on October 12. Due to sunrise on Dashami Tithi on 12th October, it will be Shuddha Dasham Tithi.
