Massive fire in Govandi slum: 15 warehouses and many houses burnt to ashes

Mumbai: A massive fire broke out in a slum in Baiganwadi of Adarsh ​​Nagar area of ​​Govandi. About 15 warehouses and many houses were burnt to ashes in this fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties in the incident.

According to the information received, a fire broke out in a slum in Baiganwadi area of ​​Gaudi's Adarsh ​​Nagar. The fire started at four in the morning today. The official said that about 15 warehouses and many huts were gutted in the fire.

As soon as the fire broke out, citizens immediately came out of the house and contacted the fire department. As soon as the information was received, nine firefighters of the fire department immediately reached the spot and started the first rescue operation. The fire was so severe that some gas cylinders also burst. Due to which an atmosphere of fear was created in the surrounding area.

After a lot of effort the fire was brought under control at 8.55 am. A fire department official said that at present there is no loss of life or property in this matter, but electrical wiring, plastic seats, household items, wooden planks and furniture and other items kept in the warehouse got caught in the fire.

The exact cause of the fire is not yet known. So now Deonar police is investigating further into this incident.
