Varanasi, June 22 (HS). Youth are the future of tomorrow. They can be made good citizens by creating a desire for their culture, art, heritage and moral values ​​in them from the very beginning. In this uncontrolled era of social media, the habit of study, contemplation, creative writing and artistic tendencies will not only keep them away from negativity but will also create good thoughts in their minds. These words are of Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General of Varanasi region. The Postmaster General was addressing the people present after distributing prizes in the three-day painting competition and workshop on 'Indian culture and yoga' organized by Nav Bharat Nirman Samiti on Saturday.

The program was organized under the 'Give them wings' campaign focused on students in the age group of 14-22 years from 16 districts of Purvanchal including Varanasi. In the program, Krishna Kumar Yadav, along with Varanasi division's Chief Treasurer Govind Singh, international painter S. Pranam Singh, awarded the students and wished them a bright future.

Pooja Singh Chauhan, Palak Prajapati, Palak Kumari got first, second and third prizes respectively while Santoshi Verma, Sachin Seth, Sneha Verma, Roshni Verma, Mansi Pandey, Archita and Mahima were given consolation prizes. All were given medals, certificates and cash as a token of respect. On this occasion, the Postmaster General said that in today's busy lifestyle, not only physical but also mental, emotional and social empowerment at the level of sensitivity is necessary.

Yoga is a priceless gift of our ancient tradition. Through 'Yoga: Karmasu Kaushalam', this priceless and unique heritage of Indian culture has been adopted at the global level. Yoga is a symbol of unity of mind and body, thought and action which is valuable for human welfare. He said that Nav Bharat Nirman Samiti has also connected people through 'Banaras Lit Fest: Kashi Literature, Art Festival', in the same series, 'Give them wings' campaign organized for the youth should also be seen. The youth have an important contribution in making India a socially, culturally, economically, scientifically and spiritually developed and strong nation by the centenary year of independence in 2047.
