Auraiya, 02 August (HS). District Magistrate Dr. Indramani Tripathi reviewed the works of the Development Department, Panchayati Raj, Social Welfare and Women Welfare and Disabled Welfare Department in turn in the Manas Auditorium located in the Collectorate. While reviewing on Friday, he directed all concerned that the departmental schemes should be implemented with full capacity on the ground, so that the objective of the scheme is fulfilled and the needy get its benefits. He said that the standards set by the government must be ensured in the eligibility selection so that no complaint of any kind arises.
The District Magistrate directed all the Assistant Development Officers to activate the Panchayat Bhawan Gram Sachivalaya of their respective areas by getting them cleaned and painted so that the process of redressal of complaints of the common people can be heard there. He said that cleanliness should be ensured in all the Panchayat Bhawans, Secretariats and in the village. He directed the District Panchayat Raj Officer to also visit and see the arrangements.
He said that when the ADO Panchayats of Auraiya, Achhalda and Bhagya Nagar did not provide the details of photographs etc. related to the Panchayat Bhawan Secretariat, he asked for an explanation. He instructed the ADO Panchayat to get door to door garbage collection done, and also ensure that a place (by installing pipes) is made for flag hoisting at the Panchayat Bhawan on 15th August. He said that a meeting will be held on Zoom with all the ADO Panchayats, for this all arrangements should be ensured. He instructed to get writing work done in the rooms, toilets and other places at the Panchayat Bhawan Secretariat.
The District Magistrate said that the Gram Pradhans will be awarded on August 15 for good work at the best five secretariats in each development block. He directed the DC MNREGA to get other works done including cutting of bushes by employing maximum MNREGA workers in the villages so that the workers will get wages along with cleanliness. He also instructed to provide a list of dilapidated buildings and rented buildings as well as send demand letters for repairs and new construction. He told all concerned to ensure that village-wise monitoring committees are formed.
Chief Development Officer Ram Sumer Gautam, District Development Officer Karuna Pati Mishra, District Panchayat Raj Officer Kamini Gautam, District Backward Class Welfare Officer Ashutosh Singh, District Social Welfare Officer Indra Singh, ADO Panchayat and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
