Lucknow, 29 November (HS). A sudden fire broke out late on Friday evening in the three-storey Azim Furniture showroom on Shakti Nagar slope of Indira Nagar located in Ghazipur police station area. As soon as the information was received, two fire engines of Indira Nagar Fire Service were called to the spot. Later, a total of ten vehicles were also called from Hazratganj, Aminabad, Chowk, Bakshi Ka Talab.
According to eyewitnesses, when people saw the flames in the Azim Furniture showroom on Friday evening, they immediately informed the fire service station by phone. The entire police force from Ghazipur police station was deployed on the spot. Inspector Vikas and sub-inspectors started diverting the vehicles coming towards Shakti Nagar slope. During this time, local people were removed from the spot and windows and doors of nearby houses were closed. The process of extinguishing the fire is continuing.
