A major accident took place during the preparations for Mahakumbh in Saraiinayat police station area of Prayagraj. The bridge tower collapsed while pulling high tension wire in Jagbandhanpur village. 8 laborers were injured in this accident, out of which the condition of two is critical. One worker’s leg was amputated, while two workers were buried under the tower. All the injured laborers are residents of Malda district of West Bengal.
