Mumbai (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde performed puja at his residence on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on Tuesday. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said, “I wish all the Ganesh devotees. I was in Jammu and Kashmir yesterday, people were celebrating Ganeshotsav at Lal Chowk in Srinagar. I pray that ‘Vighnaharta’ will come before the people of Maharashtra. Remove all obstacles.”
CM Eknath Shinde also wished for prosperity of the farmers and citizens of the state. He expressed hope that there will be adequate rain in the state.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted people on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
The ten-day festival of Ganesh Chaturthi started from today.
On ‘X’, PM Modi wrote, “Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to the countrymen! Ganpati Bappa Morya!”
In another ‘X’ post, he wrote, “Greetings to my family members across the country on Ganesh Chaturthi. May this holy festival associated with the worship of Vighnaharta-Vinayak bring good luck, success and prosperity in the lives of all of you.” Ganpati Bappa Morya!”.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also reached ‘X’ and extended good wishes on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Shah wrote in the ‘X’ post, “Heartiest greetings to all the countrymen on the holy festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. I pray to ‘Vighnaharta – Shri Ganpati Bappa’ for your good fortune.”
Meanwhile, morning aarti was performed at Shri Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai, Maharashtra today to mark the beginning of Ganeshotsav. (ANI)
