Hamirpur, 26 August (HS). There was a fear of communal harmony being disturbed once again due to some political people in Maudha town which had suffered the pain of riots five years ago, but on Tuesday the administrative officials talked to both the parties and found a middle way.
On Tuesday, some people of the locality expressed their objection over the fact that there is no tradition of taking out a new procession from the Shiv temple located in Hussainia of Maudha town through a new route and wrote a letter to the sub-district magistrate, on which the sub-district magistrate and the area officer called both the parties to the police station and started talking, but soon a crowd of people from both the parties gathered at the police station and after hours of talks, the administration mediated and got the palanquin taken out. However, a great negligence of the administration has come to light in this. Last week, J.K. Yadav, a resident of Hussainia of the town, had applied to take out the palanquin of Mahakal from the Shiv temple located in Hussainia, on which the administrative officials gave approval without assessing the actual situation.
for which BJP and its allies did a lot of publicity through DJ, when the people of the locality came to know about it, Yakub Gaddi, Congress leader Salim Ahmed and others wrote a letter to the sub-district magistrate and said not to start a new tradition by not taking out Mahakal's palanquin. On which sub-district magistrate Rajesh Chandra, area officer Ashish Kumar, police station in-charge Ram Asare Saroj called both the parties and talked to them, but the matter started getting complicated instead of getting resolved, due to which Additional District Magistrate and Additional Superintendent of Police Mayaram also reached the police station in a hurry, while Superintendent of Police Diksha Sharma kept monitoring the matter by sitting in the headquarters. And for several hours, several rounds of talks were held with both the parties, but both the parties could not be completely satisfied. Due to which police from many police stations were also called. But after the solution was not found through talks, both the parties left the police station.
While Salim Ahmed and others from one side demanded that the palanquin be taken out this time, but the administration should give it in writing that it will not be taken out in future. To which the administrative officials gave a vague reply. In this case, more political people were present from both the sides than religious people, due to which a lot of politics was done in the matter. Let us tell you that Maudha town, which suffered the brunt of Kansh five years ago, was also under the evil eye of such political people, after which the communal harmony was disturbed during the Kansh fair in Maudha. If the administrative officials had not acted with such wisdom on Tuesday, then once again there was a possibility of communal harmony being disturbed in the town. During this, Additional District Magistrate, Additional Superintendent of Police Mayaram Verma, Area Officer Sadar Rajesh Kanwal, Area Officer Maudha Ashish Kumar, Sub-District Magistrate Rajesh Chandra, Kotwali in-charge Ram Asare Saroj along with police from many police stations were present.
