Lucknow University receives invitation for bilateral cooperation with Tajikistan

Lucknow, 30 November (HS). Lucknow University has received a prestigious invitation from the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in India to visit Tajikistan in January 2025. The purpose of the visit is to explore the possibilities of lasting bilateral educational and cultural cooperation with Tajik higher education institutions.

According to a letter issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan on 29 November 2024, the government has agreed to support the educational cooperation proposal submitted by Lucknow University on 26 September 2024. The objective of this initiative is to strengthen ties between the educational institutions of the two countries and promote mutual development and stability. The Embassy has requested the University Administration to submit the list of members of the delegation as soon as possible, so that the successful organization of this visit can be ensured. This partnership reflects the University’s commitment to encouraging global partnerships and international educational relationships.

Ambassador of Tajikistan Lukman Bobokalonzoda expressed his gratitude to Lucknow University for showing interest in cooperation and underlined the mutual benefits of such cooperation. The visit is likely to promote educational exchange programs and establish lasting relations between the two countries. Vice Chancellor Lucknow University Prof. Alok Kumar Rai said that Lucknow University looks forward to making this international collaboration a significant achievement towards academic excellence and cultural exchange.
