LPG gas cylinders have once again been hit by inflation. Today, i.e. from September 1, oil companies have increased the prices of LPG cylinders. The increase in LPG cylinders has been made only in 19 KG commercial gas cylinders, oil companies have not made any change in the price of 14 KG domestic gas cylinders.
After the price hike, new prices have also come out. According to the new prices, the price of commercial LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 39 from September 1. After the increase, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 1,691.50.
How much did the prices increase in which city?
According to the information given on the website of Indian Oil Company (IOCL), the increase in the price of LPG cylinder has come into effect from September 1. After this increase, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Mumbai has increased from Rs 1605 to Rs 1644. In Kolkata, the price has increased from Rs 1764.50 to Rs 1802.50, while in Chennai the price has increased from Rs 1817 to Rs 1855.
There was an increase in it last month as well
Earlier in the last month (August 2024) also, the price of LPG gas cylinder had increased. Then the 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder became costlier by Rs 8.50. After the last change, the 19 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi became Rs 1652.50.
Prices were cut in July
Earlier on the first of July, oil marketing companies had reduced the price of LPG. The companies had reduced the prices of commercial gas cylinders and the price of 19 kg cylinder in the capital Delhi was reduced by Rs 30. After the change, the price of commercial cylinder in Delhi came down from Rs 1676 to Rs 1646, in Kolkata from Rs 1787 to Rs 1756, in Chennai from Rs 1840.50 to Rs 1809.50 and in Mumbai from Rs 1629 to Rs 1598.
