Mathura, August 10 (HS). 17 cases are registered against Lokesh alias Motu of Radhakrishna Colony of Kosikalan police station in various police stations of the district. He and his henchmen have operated a gang of occupying lands, taking money in the name of getting possession and making deadly attacks, etc. Recently, he had openly challenged the police by firing several rounds outside a private medical college. After this, he was arrested by Chhata police on August 6. Chhata police detained him under the Arms Act and presented him in the court for remand. It is being told that his henchmen made a reel at that time and tried to show the criminal as a hero by making it viral on social media.
SSP Shailesh Kumar Pandey told on Saturday that the police was looking for criminal Lokesh for a long time. He was arrested by Chhata police on August 6 and sent to jail. He has a long criminal history. Kosikala police has been directed to open his history sheet. Also, action should be taken against him under Gangster Act. The names of all his gang members should be registered in the gang chart. The details of all their properties should be taken from the concerned tehsils and it should be seen how much property they have acquired through crime. Bulldozers will be run on houses, flats, shops etc. acquired through crime. At the same time, plots etc. will be seized. Strict legal action will be taken against Lokesh and his other criminal associates.
