Life imprisonment to the Maulvi who molested an innocent child, the judge wrote in the decision that the convict will have to do atonement daily

Kota, March 13 (Hindustan Reporter) POCSO Court No. 3 has sentenced a Maulvi to life imprisonment for raping a 10-year-old innocent boy who had come to learn Arabic. While giving the verdict in the five month old case, Judge Deepak Dubey wrote that your culprit is now behind the bars and he will not trouble you. The judge also said that by hanging the convict would not be able to atone for his sin. After the sentencing, the accused kept hiding his face in shame.

Government lawyer Lalit Kumar Sharma said that the court has sentenced Maulvi Naseem Khan (23), resident of Huypuri district Palwal Haryana, to imprisonment till his last breath. Also, he has been punished with a fine of Rs 21 thousand. He said that despite being a religious leader, the court has also written a poem in its decision expressing condolences to the innocent person for committing wrongdoing at a holy place. The court wrote that my little innocent angel, you are innocent and sinless, your smile is the whole world, the light of Allah resides in your face, you erase the bitter memories from your mind, we have sent your culprit behind the bars for life. It has been given, now you live this life playing swan, your house will not be able to see the tears flowing from your eyes.

The government lawyer said that in this case the police had completed the investigation in 14 days and presented the challan in the court. Statements of 11 witnesses were taken in the court and 24 documents were presented. During the hearing, there was a demand to hang the accused. On which the court said that by hanging the accused will not be able to atone, if he remains behind the bars for the rest of his life, he will atone for his sins every day.

According to the case, on 22 October 2023, the uncle of the innocent child had given a complaint at Budhadit police station. It was told in the complaint that since the death of his father, his 10 year old innocent nephew has been living with him. He studies in fifth class. On October 22, at four in the evening, he came home crying. He told that at 3.30 he had gone to the Maulvi in ​​the mosque to study Arabic. There Maulvi Naseem Khan taught her for a while, then took her to the mosque room and molested her. Threatened to kill if he told anyone. On the complaint, the police registered a case and arrested the accused Maulvi.
