Dhaka: Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud made a big statement on the political turmoil in Bangladesh. Speaking to the media after hoisting the national flag in the Supreme Court premises on August 15, the Chief Justice said that what is happening in Bangladesh is teaching us how important freedom is. It is easy to take freedom and expression lightly, but these events teach us how important both are.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Yunus, in-charge of the interim government in Bangladesh, spoke to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the phone. Meanwhile, Yunus assured that his government is taking responsibility for the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh. At the same time, Modi also assured Yunus to stay with India for peace and development in Bangladesh. In his address on August 15, Modi had said that all the citizens of India are worried about Hindus and minorities in the neighboring country Bangladesh. After Modi's statement, Mohammad Yunus, who is in power in Bangladesh, spoke to Modi and assured the protection of Hindus.

After taking power, Mohammad Yunus has initiated other major changes. Bangladesh has transferred its ambassadors posted in other states. Bangladesh's ambassadors in about six countries have been ordered to return to Bangladesh. All these ambassadors were appointed by former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The countries whose ambassadors have been recalled by Bangladesh include Germany, America, Canada. Hindu Council members Aparna Rani Pal and Mobashvira Farzan Mithila have also been recalled from Canada. On the other hand, complaints against Sheikh Hasina are increasing in Bangladesh. Earlier there was a complaint of murder, massacre, kidnapping of a Supreme Court lawyer, now another complaint of murder has been filed. This complaint has been filed against Sheikh Hasina and her party Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader in Bogura, Bangladesh. Many students were killed during the movement, this complaint has been filed by the family of Salim Hussain, one of the killed students.
