Lawrence Bishnoi urges Gujarat court to stop using words ‘gangster’ and ‘terrorist’ for him


Gujarat: Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently behind bars here in a drugs smuggling case probed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), on Monday filed an application in a special court, accusing the investigating agency of using the words ‘terrorist’. Demanded to give instructions to abstain. ‘Gangster’ for him in police and court papers without any ‘solid or concrete’ evidence.
The court of Special Judge KM Sojitra sought response from the NIA in the case and posted it for hearing on September 22.
The court on Monday sent Bishnoi to judicial custody after ending his police remand in the 2022 case of recovery of drugs from a boat off the Gujarat coast.
Bishnoi singer Sidhu is also an accused in the Moosewala murder case.
