According to the information, police had received secret information in Sikandarpur area of Ballia that a large quantity of firecrackers were stored illegally in a warehouse. Based on this information, the police and administrative team immediately conducted a raid. During the raid the team was stunned to see that inside the warehouse Four tons (ie 40 quintals) Firecrackers were kept hoarded, which was a clear violation of the rules.
Illegal storage of so many firecrackers can be very dangerous, as it could lead to a major fire incident at any time, causing huge loss of life and property. Taking prompt action, the police not only confiscated all the firecrackers but also arrested the warehouse manager from the spot.
