Lander of a private American company made the first commercial landing on the Moon

Now the first commercial landing on the Moon away from Earth has taken place. An American private company has done this miracle. The company's Nova-C lander has reached the Moon with a rocket named Odysseus spacecraft. Became a commercial moon landing company. It is noteworthy that India's Chandrayaan-3 has reached the surface of the Moon. The mission is funded by NASA. Its purpose is to pave the way for astronaut missions later this decade. The mission will remain active on the moon for 7 days. America first reached the Moon in 1972. The first mission was Apollo 17. But the South Pole has been reached for the first time.

Chandrayaan-3 has reached the Moon

India reached the lunar surface on August 23 last year. This miracle was possible under ISRO's Chandrayaan-3. India has become the fourth country in the world to reach the surface of the Moon. At the same time, India is the first country in the world to reach the south pole of the Moon. According to experts, it is generally difficult to reach the south pole of the Moon. However, India has created a record by reaching the South Pole.

Lessons learned from 2019 Chandrayaan-2 mission

Before Chandrayaan-3, Chandrayaan-2 was launched on 22 July 2019. It was the first space mission of any country to attempt a soft landing on the south polar region of the Moon. However, the Vikram lunar lander of the Chandrayaan-2 mission crashed on the Moon on September 6, 2019. ISRO scientists also got to learn a lot from the mission. ISRO chief S. Somnath says that the 2019 Chandrayaan-2 mission was partially successful, but the lessons learned from it have proved very useful in ISRO's new effort to land a lander on the Moon. Under this, many changes have been made in Chandrayaan-3. New instruments have been developed for the success of Chandrayaan-3 mission. The algorithm has improved. The reason why Chandrayaan-2 mission could not land on the lunar surface is being focused on. The lander had four engines instead of five.

Chandrayaan-2's lander had five engines, while this time Chandrayaan-3 had four engines to reduce weight. Chandrayaan-3 was equipped with four engines with laser Doppler velocimetry, the purpose of which was to control its altitude and direction during all phases of lunar landing. Chandrayaan-3's legs were strengthened to withstand any unexpected impact. It was fitted with more equipment, updated software and a larger fuel tank. This was done so that even if changes had to be made at the last minute, these tools could be important in that situation.
