Raipur:Keeping in view the security and law and order in view of the upcoming assembly elections including prevention of crimes, tightening the grip on criminals, under the leadership of all the police gazetted officers of Raipur Police, police forces including station incharges under the leadership of visible policing in the police station areas of their respective sections. Teams of 112 including foot patrolling, vehicle patrolling, Crime Prevention Patrolling (CPP) gather in crowded places, public places/deserted places to arrest drug addicts, group-mongering/loiterers, suspicious persons. Drinking liquor in public places, providing places for drinking liquor, sitting inside a four-wheeler in public grounds, parks, squares and public places, including anti-social elements, suspicious persons roaming around in the trunk of their vehicles, sharp-edged knives etc. Those who drink alcohol are being constantly checked.During checking, a liquor smuggler was caught by the police.
