Jaipur, 18 September (HS). In the coming days, many new facilities will be created by providing child friendly furniture in the kindergartens run for pre-primary class children under Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools (MGGS) in the state. Guidelines regarding this were issued during a detailed discussion on the concept of children’s gardens in MGGS in a meeting held at the Secretariat on Monday under the chairmanship of Government Secretary Naveen Jain.
At present pre-primary classes are being run in more than one thousand MGGS in the state. In the meeting, Government Secretary Jain took information about the status of enrollment in kindergartens, formation of special cadre of teachers, posting of trained NTT teachers and progress in employing personnel like sweepers, support staff, guards and caretakers under service based works. Gave instructions for well-organized management of kindergartens.
It was told in the meeting that 6 round tables, 48 chairs and swings will be provided to the children of pre-primary classes in all the kindergartens. Special toilets will also be built for small children. In the meeting, instructions were also given to prepare proposals regarding distribution of text books in kindergartens and construction of additional classrooms. It was decided in the meeting that on 29th September, VC of the principals of MGGS schools and officers associated with the management of kindergartens will be organized at the state level.
Special Secretary of School Education Department Chitra Gupta, Director of Education Kanaram, Commissioner of Rajasthan School Education Council and State Project Director Dr. T. Shubhamangala, Joint Government Secretary Kishore Kumar and Praveen Lekhara and other officials were present in the meeting.
