Varanasi, June 10 (HS). Bhojpuri cinema singer-actor Khesari Lal Yadav reached Varanasi on Monday for the promotion of the film “Rang De Basanti”. Khesari Lal met the media with the entire team of the film at a restaurant in Teliyabagh. He informed that the film “Rang De Basanti” was released in more than 265 theatres across India last Friday.
Khesari said, the story of the film is amazing which gives the message of diversity, harmony and unity. This film is not only for entertainment but also shares a social message. Those who used to say that Bhojpuri films are not shown in multiplexes, their complaint is also getting resolved now. When Bhojpuri language can get respect in IPL, then why not in cinemas. The story of army brothers has been depicted in the film 'Rang De Basanti'. This film has Hindutva, patriotism, martyrdom. It shows the life of a soldier, what is the life of his family, a soldier considers his entire country as his entire family. The entire story of a soldier has been shown in this film.
Khesari said that some people in Kashmir throw stones at soldiers, I am very sad about that. I have played the role of a soldier in this film. The film has been shot in Azamgarh, Varanasi and Bihar.
Actress Rati Pandey said that the film has been made on a very good subject. It is getting a lot of love from the audience. Today this film is also getting the blessings of Baba Vishwanath in Kashi.
