Preparations have intensified in the homes that have been waiting for marriage for a long time. Booking for Band Baja, Tent House and Halwai has started. However, the corona infection is increasing unexpectedly and protocols have been made by the Home Department. Due to which people are busy in preparing for marriage by following the rules by gathering less crowd. According to the Panchang in this year 2022, 57 days of marriage are auspicious.
Till January 15, there was no auspicious time for marriage due to Kharmas and Panchashlaka Veda. According to tradition, the date of marriage is decided after matching 36 points in the horoscope of the bride and groom. Marriage is not only decided on the basis of date, Nakshatra, month, date, Panchasalaka Veda, Ascendant and auspicious planet. Kharmas is over with Makar Sankranti, but due to the mismatch of date, constellation and planets, the shehnai will sound from next week. After that marriage will start and in January 23, 24, 27 and February 2, 6, 7, 10 and 11 are auspicious dates for marriage. After 11th February, there is no Muhurta for marriage due to the presence of Guru Ast Dosha.

After that in April on 17, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 27 and 28, in May on two, nine, 11, 12, 13, 18, 20, 22, 25, 26, 27 and 30, in June The auspicious time for marriage is on one, five, six, nine, 10, 13, 19, 22, 24 and 26 and in July on three, four, six and eight. On July 10, after Harishayani (Devshayani) Ekadashi, all auspicious works including marriage will be stopped due to Chaturmas dosh. Chaturmas will end with Hariprabodhini (Dev Uthan Ekadashi) on November 4 and Tulsi Vivah on November 5. After this the auspicious time for marriage is on 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th November and 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th of December.
