Karma Bai was also called Meera of Marwar: Nand Kishore Pandey

Moradabad, 20 February (HS). Under the auspices of Shri Parivar Divya Mahayagya Samiti Trust Moradabad, Shri Mahakal Mahamrityunjaya Yagya was held in the morning session on Tuesday, the fifth day of the five-day Maa Pitambara Baglamukhi Devi Mahayagya and Shri Bhaktamal Katha, at Manoranjan Sadan near the Railway Stadium. The rituals were performed by Acharya Pandit Kameshwar Mishra under the direction of Shri Parivar Peethadhishwar Pandit Krishna Swami.

In the evening session, Pandit Nand Kishore Pandey Ji Maharaj, who came from Shri Dham Mathura, said in Shri Bhaktamal Katha that Karma Bai is also called Meera of Marwar. Whenever Lord Krishna is mentioned, the name of Karma also comes up. She was a great devotee of God and Lord Shri Krishna used to take food from her hand every day and empty the plate of food. Haidri Kalwa is a village in Makrana tehsil of Nagaur district of Rajasthan. In this village, a daughter was born to Jeevan Ram Dudi in 1615 AD. It was born after praying a lot to God and was named Karma. There was a unique aura on Karma's face. Jeevan Ram himself was a religious man and an ardent devotee of Krishna. He had built a temple of Lord Krishna in his house in the name of the Lord, 'Madan Mohan'. He worshiped Lord Krishna every day and offered food to the Lord and took food only after offering it to the Lord. This was a daily rule in their house.
