Kanpur, 30 September (Hindustan Reporter). Kotwali police, within 48 hours, exposed the case of fraud worth lakhs from a jewelery businessman, arrested two real brothers and recovered silver worth more than Rs 50 lakh. This information was given by Deputy Commissioner of Police East Shravan Kumar Singh on Monday.

He said that the arrested accused are Ravindra Singh, son of Rajesh Singh and his brother Vivek Singh, residents of Ghumani Bazar of Feelkhana area. 58 kg 870 grams of silver (white metal) has been recovered from the possession of both of them. Whose price is more than fifty thousand rupees.

It is noteworthy that a scooter was found abandoned in the Kotwali police station area on the night of 28th. The number of the unclaimed scooter was searched and the owner was contacted, after which information was received that it was the scooty of a jewelery businessman and his servant Ravindra Singh had been working for the past many days and was using it. When he is missing, we suspect that Ravindra has absconded with 58 kg 870 grams of silver. A case was immediately registered in this regard and investigation was started. Many teams were formed for the revelations. Was raiding possible places. On Monday's police surveillance and information from an informer, the Kotwali police arrested him from near Gillim Bazaar. Legal action will be taken against both the brothers and they will be sent to jail.
