Kanpur Dehat remained full of accidents, seven died in road accidents on Friday

Kanpur Dehat, 29 November (HIST). Friday was a day of accidents in the district. On this day, seven people lost their lives in road accidents in different police station areas of the district. The police have sent all the bodies for post-mortem and have started action by registering a case on the complaint of the family members.

A series of accidents started in Kanpur Dehat from Friday morning itself. Soon the number of dead bodies kept increasing in the post-mortem house and by seven evening this trend stopped after seven deaths. The first accident in the district occurred near Mawai Muktapur of Derapur police station area, where Nirmala Tiwari, who was going to listen to Shivrajpur Katha, was hit by an unknown vehicle, due to which she died on the spot.

The second accident took place in Baraula of Akbarpur police station area, where three people were injured in a collision between a scooter and a bike, out of which two died. The information revealed that Amit Kumar was going to Akbarpur to get medicines when the accident happened and he and a friend died in it.

The third accident took place on Gajner Navipur road in Gajner police station area, where a speeding bike collided with a culvert, in which three people died on the spot. Sushil and Chuttan, among the deceased, worked as waiters in a guest house in Gajner.

The fourth accident took place near Nariha village of Akbarpur police station area, where the bike rider was hit by an unknown vehicle. Due to which Suresh Chandra, working in PWD, died during treatment.

Police said that seven people died in these accidents that took place in Akbarpur, Derapur, and Gajner police station areas. Police have started investigating all the cases and have sent the bodies for post-mortem.
