Jalaun, 17 August (HS). Jhansi-Kanpur route has been badly affected due to derailment of coaches of Sabarmati Express near Bhimsen station of Kanpur. 7 trains running on this route were cancelled. While the route of long distance trains was diverted.
Intercity, passenger and one more train going from Jhansi to Kanpur and Lucknow were cancelled. Due to which people going to Jhansi, Lucknow and Kanpur had to take the help of buses and other vehicles. There was chaos at Orai railway station since morning and passengers were troubled. It is worth mentioning that the Kanpur Jhansi rail route is badly affected due to the incident of Sabarmati Express train bogies overturning near Bhimsen in Kanpur in the early hours of Saturday.
