Paris, July 30 (HS). Japan topped the medal table at the Olympic Games on Monday after winning the men's team event in artistic gymnastics. By winning the gold medal in gymnastics, Japan has reached the top spot with six gold medals and a total of 12 medals.
Top-placed Australia slipped to fifth at the end of the competition on Sunday, while China, South Korea and hosts France moved ahead.
Manu Bhaker won the bronze medal in the women's 10mm air pistol shooting on Sunday, taking India to joint 25th position.
