Jammu Kashmir: Weekend lockdown imposed to stop the pace of corona in Jammu and Kashmir, ban on non-essential movement

Jammu and Kashmir (Jammu KashmirThere is a record increase in the daily cases of corona virus in the last few days. Due to which the government has imposed new restrictions. The government has imposed weekend curfew in the union territory (Weekend CurfewKeeping the already issued restrictions including ) have issued fresh guidelines. During this, there will be a ban on non-essential movement. This decision was taken by the State Executive Committee (SEC) on Kovid-19 (covid-19) is taken on Friday after reviewing the situation. It is headed by the Chief Secretary.

It has been said from the government that the restrictions imposed in Jammu and Kashmir will remain in force till further orders. There will be a complete ban on non-essential movement on weekends, along with a complete ban on non-essential movement, night curfew will be in force from 9 pm to 6 am. Talking about other restrictions, no more than 25 people can attend an indoor or outdoor event. The banquet hall can accommodate 25 vaccinated people with a Kovid negative report, while 25 percent of the total capacity in the open field.

Which activities are prohibited?

Following the SOP, only 25 percent of the total capacity will be allowed in activities like cinema halls, theatres, gyms and swimming pools. All schools, colleges, ITIs, coaching centers will have to make online education. Even during the night curfew, non-essential movement will be banned (Jammu Kashmir Restrictions). The new order states that there is a need for additional guidelines in addition to the existing containment measures in all districts, as the situation is worsening due to the increasing positivity rate in daily corona virus cases.

Who will have to go through the investigation?

The Jammu and Kashmir government has also issued guidelines for passengers coming to the Union Territory. It states that asymptomatic people are not required to undergo RT-PCR or rapid antigen Kovid-19 test if they have a certificate of Kovid-19 vaccination. The negative test report should not be more than 72 hours old. However, passengers coming by air / rail / road will be screened if they show symptoms. If people travel from one place to another within the union territory, then they will have to show the certificate of Kovid-19 vaccination. Or they can show negative test report, which is not more than 72 hours old.
