Hodal MLA Jagdish Nair said this while laying the foundation stone on Sunday. The MLA laid the foundation stone for laying a new pipeline at a cost of Rs 1 crore 45 lakh in village Pengaltu of Hodal assembly constituency.
MLA Jagdish Nair said that this was a very old demand of the residents of village Pengaltu. To overcome the problem of drinking water in the village, work of laying new pipeline is being started. He said that the people of the village should not have to face the problem of drinking water. That is why today he has laid the foundation stone of the drinking water pipeline to be laid in village Pengaltu at a cost of about Rs 1.5 crore. This work will be completed in the next 6 months, due to which sweet drinking water will be available to all the villagers.
The MLA said that this pipeline will be laid 2473 meters 6 inches and 2203 meters 4 inches, so that the villagers will not face any problem of drinking water. He also said that after the completion of the pipeline work, the road will also be completely repaired. It is often seen that the pipeline is laid. After that the village road remains broken. He gave strict instructions to the officials that along with laying the pipeline, the road should also be built, so that the villagers do not face any problem in commuting.
MLA Jagdish Nayar while addressing the villagers said that all the development works are being completed at a fast pace under the leadership of the Chief Minister of the state Nayab Singh Saini. The Chief Minister of the state Nayab Singh Saini has also instructed all the officers to complete all the development works on time. Any kind of negligence in development works will not be tolerated. On this occasion, the villagers gave a warm welcome to MLA Jagdish Nayar and other guests by putting garlands and tying turbans. On this occasion, SDO Ajay Kangra, JE Ramveer, Balkishan, Brijmohan, Harimohan, Lachhi, Garhi's Sarpanch Baldev and many other dignitaries and officers of the village were present.
