Ahmedabad: With the divine blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sadananda Saraswati Maharaj, Phani Vyas and Vishwam Trivedi's engagement turned out to be a joyous occasion. The blessing ceremony was held at Tulja House on Sunday morning in the presence of Vyas and Trivedi families, their relatives and friends. As the Shankaracharya of Pashchimanaya Dwarka Sarada Peetha, Sadananda Saraswati Maharaj manages one of the four major Peethas founded by revered philosopher and theologian Adi Shankaracharya.

The Ashirvad ceremony holds immense importance in Hindu culture. It signifies the union of two families wherein the elders bless the bride and groom with wishes of health, happiness and a prosperous life. What could be better than Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sadananda Saraswati Maharaj to bless the newlyweds on such an auspicious occasion! Sadananda Saraswati Maharaj also delivered a special spiritual discourse at the Ashirvad ceremony in which he spoke about the importance of the marital bond in Sanatan Dharma. A cow was then donated, which is considered to be the most satisfying service, considered priceless. After the ceremony organised by the bride's parents Sri Bhavin K Vyas (Tulja Estate Pvt Ltd) and Beena Vyas, an evening engagement ceremony was held at Gift City Club, Gandhinagar.

The Tulja Estate family is deeply attached to their culture and hence believes strongly in traditions and customs. Over time this family has successfully created a balance between tradition and modernity through various means. This is proven by the fact that various auspicious wedding ceremonies of their other children in the past were held at the royal palace, on the banks of the holy river Ganga and at places like the Statue of Unity. A true Gujarati at heart, the Vyas family always brings out their unique style in each of their ceremonies.
