In Gujarat, the state government provides interest subsidy to support small, medium and micro enterprises.

In response to the question of interest subsidy to MSME units of Mehsana district in the Assembly, Industries Minister Balwant Singh Rajput said that in the last one year, 350 applications of micro, small and medium enterprises have been approved. Out of these, assistance amount of Rs 1,414.79 lakh has been paid on 318 applications.
Responding to another supplementary question, he said that currently 34,827 MSME units are registered in Mehsana district, which includes 32,446 micro enterprises, 2,083 small enterprises and 298 medium enterprises.
Such units will have to register themselves on the Anubandham portal. This entire process is transparent. Benefits of various schemes are also provided through online approval.
