Institutes willing to provide computer training can apply online

Lucknow, June 05 (HS). The Backward Classes Welfare of the State Government is conducting online 'O' Level and CCC Computer Training Scheme for the financial year 2024-25. The objective of this scheme is to provide advanced computer education to unemployed youths of backward classes.

Director of Backward Class Welfare Department, Dr. Vandana Verma said on Wednesday that training under this scheme will be provided by institutions recognized by 'NIELIT', an authorized institution of the Government of India. Institutions interested in providing computer training can apply online in the districts from June 8 to June 21.

The application process and guidelines are available on the Backward Classes Welfare Department's website backwardwelfareup.gov.in and obccomputertraining.upsdc.gov.in.

After applying, the institutions should download the copy of the online application and submit all the required documents along with the signed printout to the Directorate of Backward Classes Welfare Department located at Indiranagar Bhawan, Lucknow by 5 pm on June 21. The review of applications and physical verification of the infrastructure of the institutions will be done by a committee constituted under the chairmanship of Director, Backward Classes Welfare.
