Pakistan inflation: The economic condition of India's neighboring country Pakistan has once again started deteriorating. People also have to spend a lot on food and daily needs. The situation is so bad that the prices of things like flour and bread have increased so much that it is becoming difficult for common people to buy them.
Here the prices of petrol, diesel and gas are skyrocketing, even everyday items like milk are becoming out of reach of people due to the unbearable price.
What is the price of milk in Karachi?
In Pakistan's conflict-hit Karachi, milk prices have increased by Rs 10 per liter after the Municipal Commissioner accepted the demands of the Dairy Farmers Association and approved the hike. Shops in Karachi are now selling milk at PKR 210 per litre. But earlier there was speculation about a possible increase in milk prices by 50 PKR per liter. The citizens of Karachi, burdened by inflation, fear that milk will become costlier by Rs 50 per litre.
High cost of milk production is the main reason for the increase in prices
According to a report, Mubasher Qadir Abbasi, president of Dairy Farmers in Karachi, has indicated that the price of milk for the people of Karachi is likely to increase by PKR 50 per liter soon. According to Abbasi, the reason for the sudden increase in milk prices could be the high cost of milk production, rising prices of cattle and government negligence. If the concerned authorities do not announce the increase in milk prices by May 10, the stakeholders will take the matter into their cognizance and increase the prices after consensus.
