East Champaran, July 20 (HS). On Saturday, the INDIA alliance took out a protest march from Motihari Charkha Park to Kachhari Chowk against the rising crime in Bihar.
The protest march turned into a meeting after reaching Kachhari Chowk. While addressing the meeting, the coalition leaders fiercely targeted the Nitish government. While addressing the meeting, RJD MLA and East Champaran RJD District President Manoj Yadav said that the credibility of Nitish Kumar, who used to boast of good governance, has ended.
The incidents of crime are increasing day by day in Bihar. Heinous crimes like murder, robbery, rape are happening in Bihar in broad daylight. But the government has become a mute spectator.
The government is not doing anything to stop such incidents, nor is anyone taking cognizance of this, we all together will remove the Nitish government from power before 2025, and will continue to stage a phased movement until crime is curbed in Bihar. In the coming days, we will also call for filling the jails.
Many RJD leaders including former minister Dr. Shamim Ahmed and former MLA Faisal Rahman also addressed the meeting.
