India's weight in world politics | Live Updates, Unveiling the Latest India News Trends

New Delhi: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on winning the Lok Sabha elections for the third consecutive time. In a post on social media, he wrote, 'I congratulate Prime Minister Modi, BJP and the BJP-led NDA for winning the elections for the third consecutive time. Along with this, he mentioned India's growing influence in the global perspective and said that everyone around the world understands the importance of India and everyone also knows that India has weight in global politics.

Zelensky also tweeted the same message in Hindi. Along with this, in this message, he requested Modi to join the peace talks to be held in Switzerland regarding the war in Ukraine.

It is worth noting that India was invited to the peace talks to be held in Switzerland, but the Indian Foreign Ministry did not clarify whether India would participate in the peace talks or not. However, due to Zelensky's request, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also present along with the Indian Foreign Minister.

Observers say that India has good relations with each of the G-7 countries participating in that dialogue. Modi has personal relations with many heads of government of those countries. It is also possible that Putin will not attend the talks, but the Russian Foreign Minister will. Modi can convince him. He can also convince the representatives of America and France. Then perhaps some way out of the Ukraine war will be found. That is why Zeletsky insists that Narendra Modi should also be present in that conference.

Earlier, when Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba came to Delhi last March, he had insisted India's Foreign Minister S Jaishankar to attend the peace conference. However, at that time Jaishankar did not answer 'yes' or 'no'. (But it is believed that both he and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend that conference)

It is well known that Zelensky made a surprise appearance at the biggest Asian security conference in Singapore last week. In it, he directly accused China of trying to disrupt the conference in Switzerland to establish peace in the Ukraine war. Naturally, China has denied this allegation.
