Train frequency increased to 2742

In the statement issued by the ministry, it was said that this is sufficient in terms of the number of trains compared to the summer of 2023. 6,369 additional trains were offered. The Railway Ministry said that to ensure hassle-free travel on major railway routes, additional trains have been planned to connect major destinations across the country.

Western Railway will operate the maximum number of 1878 trains.

Of the 9,111 additional trains, a maximum of 1,878 trains will be operated by Western Railways. After this, North Western Railway will run 1,623 additional trains. At the same time, South Central Railway will operate 1,012 trains and East Central Railway will operate 1,003 trains. The Railway Ministry said, 'All the zonal railways spread across the country have received requests for these additional trains from Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Delhi, Jharkhand during the summer.
