India observes 39th anniversary of Kanishka bomb blast in Canada

India has criticized the ongoing incidents of glorification of terrorism in Canada. India said that terrorism is regularly glorified in Canada, in fact all peaceful countries and people should condemn terrorism.

The Indian Embassy organized a program to pay tribute to the victims of the 1985 Kanishka bomb blast. On this occasion, the ambassador said that terrorism has no boundaries, nationality or caste. It is worth mentioning that on 23 June 1985, an airplane flying on the Montreal-London-Delhi route exploded in the Atlantic Ocean near Kanishka. This act was carried out by Khalistani terrorists living in Canada. In this incident, 329 people including 86 children died in the Air India flight. On the anniversary of the incident, Indian embassies organized tribute programs in Toronto and Vancouver on Sunday. The ambassador said on this occasion that 39 years have passed since this cowardly act, but it is unfortunate that terrorism remains a threat to international peace and security.

India criticized the Canadian Parliament for observing two minutes of silence on the first anniversary of the killing of Khalistan terrorist and Sikh separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Now Canadian journalist Daniel Boardman has also criticized the government for this act. Daniel said that this incident is a moral insult. Khalistan has already infiltrated the government. This has been going on for the last decade. Nijjar was barred from entering Canada twice for terrorism and fraud but he quietly came to Canada.
